I'm off to France tomorrow for the European Mountain Running Championships and I haven't even packed yet! The wedding cake is made and iced and gone so I can at least relax about that. The kids have been milling around all week! Despite the rain we got to do some stuff including a visit to Dun Laoighaire pier last night which they loved, followed by ice creams from Teddy's.
I have to be at the airport for 5am so it's an early start for me. Better get started on the packing!

Ice cream from Teddy's is one of the all time great experiences. Not that well known outside south county Dublin, but let's keep it that way!
Yeah it's an institution not to be shared with Northsiders and culchies......ssshhhhh.
;-)
Bonne chance en France ce weekend. Je suis sûr que vous serez un bon représentant de votre pays.

Are you running? I thought you were going to support your husband on this run. I'm sure what ever you guys are doing you will enjoy yourselves.

Mick "culchies" are what we Dubliners call anyone from outside of Dublin i.e. anyone from the country! And merci beaucoup.
Thanks FMC, Dragon and Midget Wrangler for all your good wishes, much appreciated.
Eric while I was on international duty my husband was setting the first world record for the Wicklow Round which he completed along with friend and hero Gary in 33 hours 56 minutes. Will blog tomorrow about that!
Dan and Neal thanks for the good wishes. I was very intimidated by the occasion but tried my best to enjoy it.
