Hi AC it's Mick (of the Jungfrau) here. Long time no blog. Hope you're all fine. I see you're doing the Rotterdam. I'm afraid I've some bad news for you: No Hills! Not sure I could get my head around 26 miles of flat. Best of luck with it anyway.
I'm doing the 3 Peaks (Yorkshire) at the end of April and I've signed up for this year's Jungfrau. Want to see if I can get a decent time instead of just being happy to finish. Somehow don't think I'll be threatening your 4:19 though.
Take care and enjoy the taper. Don't forget, go easy on the protein the night before the race.
Hey Mick! Great to see you back blogging! Would love to be doing the 3 peaks, will definitely do it some year. I'm amazed you're going back to Jungfrau! Glutton for punishment!! ;-) No seriously it's a spectacular race. Nothing like it in the world.
I think I'm addicted to big mountain runs. I'd have done the Zermatt as well this year. It falls a week after my 50th birthday but I had to move my party to the same weekend as the run because my nephew decided to get married on my birthday :o( I find it doubly ironic as he's Swiss and I'll be going to Switzerland for his wedding instead of for a run.
I've just seen a video of the 3 Peaks and it looks like a hands and knees job going up the side of Whernside. Better get the knee pads out.

Eeek! My God, I'm actually nervous for you! Even though I know you'll be amazing.
It's good to be blogging again.
